Nuclear reaction network unveils novel reaction patterns based on stellar energies

چکیده
Despite the advances in discovering new nuclei, modeling microscopic nuclear structure, reactors, and stellar nucleosynthesis, we still lack a systemic tool, such as network approach, to understand structure dynamics of over 70 thousands reactions compiled JINA REACLIB. To this end, develop an analysis framework, under which it is simple know generally are possible not, by counting neutrons protons incoming outgoing from any target nucleus. Specifically, assemble here reaction node represents nuclide, link direct between nuclides. Interestingly, degree distribution exhibits bimodal that significantly deviates common power-law scale-free networks Poisson random networks. Based on cross section parameterizations REACLIB, surprisingly find universal for with rate below threshold, , where T temperature γ ≈ 1.05. Moreover, discover three rules govern pattern network: (i) reaction-type determined linking choices, (ii) distances reacting nuclides 2D grid Z vs N short, (iii) each in- out-degrees close other. By incorporating these rules, our model universally unveils underlying patterns hidden large dense regardless nuclide chart expansions. It enables us predict missing links represent not yet discovered.

An Updated Nuclear Reaction Network for Bbn
Early Universe is a (hot) plasma in a FLRW metric whose composition and properties depend on the cosmic temperature T and that cools during universe expansion. The main events of its evolution depend on the freezing of some interaction during the cosmic expansion. BBN takes place when nuclear reactions (keeping baryons in chemical equilibrium) freeze-out, thus producing a characteristic pattern...
متن کاملpnπ REACTION AT MEDIUM ENERGIES
The pp → pnπ reaction is a channel with the largest total cross section for pp collision in COSY/CSR energy region. In this work, we investigate individual contributions from various N and ∆ resonances with mass up to about 2 GeV for the pp → pnπ reaction. We extend a resonance model, which can reproduce the observed total cross section quite well, to give theoretical predictions of various dif...
متن کاملReaction Plane Dispersion at Intermediate Energies
A new method to calculate the correction for the dispersion of the reaction plane at intermediate energies has been proposed. The existing standard methods, like those presented in [1, 2], have been developed and proved their usefulness to correct the measured flow values at high energies, for events with high multiplicities. They were however found inadequate for the Au+Au reactions studied wi...
متن کاملReaction plane dispersion at intermediate energies
A method to derive the corrections for the dispersion of the reaction plane at intermediate energies is proposed. The method is based on the correlated, non-isotropic Gaussian approximation. It allowed to construct the excitation function of genuine flow values for the Au+Au reactions at 40-150 MeV/nucleon measured with the INDRA detector at GSI.
متن کاملAn Adaptive QSE-reduced Nuclear Reaction Network for Silicon Burning
The nuclei of the "iron peak" are formed in massive stars shortly before core collapse and during their supernova outbursts as well as during thermonuclear supernovae. Complete and incomplete silicon burning during these events are responsible for the production of a wide range of nuclei with atomic mass numbers from 28 to 64. Because of the large number of nuclei involved, accurate modeling of...
